Install notes

Disconnect the battery, plug the harness in-line with the factory 6-pin connectors, and route the 34 in lead to the trunk harness. Secure the wiring so it can't rub or pinch, then test the trunk lights. If you are not comfortable working on brakes, lighting or wiring, have a qualified tech handle the install.
